The training aims at introducing the principles and skills of the trauma therapy in an embodied relational field model (relational gestalt ) It aims at extending the knowledge, skills and clinical experience on trauma work with enhancing participants’ awareness about trauma is a field phenomenon that place emphasis on the relational dimension.

1. The concepts of neuroscience and their relevance to the experience on trauma.
2. Understanding the cognitive and somatic features that are common to traumatic clients.
3. Understanding the defensive mechanism and the monitoring of dysregulated arousal.
4. Impact of trauma on the victim’s sense of self in relation to the others and the bigger world.
5. Expanding choices of support and resources to increase safety and to reduce the impact of trauma.
6. The working on the phased approach with focus on stabilization
7. The role of the therapist, the resources and the reconnection : the embodied, the experiential contact to mutual regulation and healing.
