In the context of the rising divorces rate, Caritas Family Mediation Service was established in 2001. In North America, Australia and other places, "family mediation" has long been an important service to assist couples facing separation or divorce in how to reorganize their future lives, and some countries have incorporated "family mediation services" as part of the divorce proceedings.
